Amerikansk thriller från 1994. När den åldrande Will Randall förlorar både sin fru och sitt jobb till en yngre medarbetare vet han inte vad han ska ta sig till. En kväll blir han biten av en varg och plötsligt känner han sig mer tävlingsinriktad och energifylld och alla hans sinnen har förbättrats. Samtidigt börjar chefens dotter Laura visa intresse för honom. Det hon inte vet är att hennes nyfunna kärlek sakta men säkert börjar förvandlas till det djur som bet honom.
